Cognac Punch

Makes 12 to 14 drinks

1 (750 ml) bottle cognac, cold
12½ ounces apple juice, cold
6¼ ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice, cold
6¼ ounces apricot liqueur, cold
½ ounce Angostura bitters
Lemon wheels and cinnamon sticks, for garnish

In a punch bowl combine the cognac, apple and lemon juices, apricot liqueur and bitters and mix to combine. Add the ice, then pour in the sparkling wine, if using, and garnish with lemon wheels and cinnamon sticks.

Cognac Punch for One

2 ounces cognac, cold
1 ounce apple juice, cold
½ ounce apricot liqueur, cold
½ ounce lemon juice, cold
½ bar spoon (or 1 full dropper) Angostura bitters
Sparkling wine, for topping off glass (optional)
Lemon wheel, for garnish

In a mixing glass, add all ingredients, fill with ice, close and shake hard. Strain into a 10-ounce glass filled with fresh ice, top with sparkling wine, if using, and garnish with a lemon wheel.
